The Real Reasons You Need the Midlife With Courage™ Unfiltered Subscription

The Midlife with Courage™ Podcast is adding a new subscription called Midlife with Courage™: Unfiltered. These bonus episodes will go deeper into conversations and offer my personal perspective on these topics and so much more. I'm getting real, meaning I will be sharing my own experiences and let's face it-vulnerability-depending on the topic at hand. So let's get into the reasons you need to listen to Unfiltered.

Here's a sneak "listen" to what you can expect.

You Want to Go Deeper into These Important Conversations

The guests that I talk to in the "main" podcast are amazing and share so much of themselves and I am so grateful for that. I have made some wonderful connections with women from all over the world. What I'm doing with Unfiltered is taking more time to explore those topics further and adding my personal experiences where appropriate. We don't always have the time in the weekly podcasts to do this and I may be including more of our conversations in the Unfiltered version where it fits as well.

You Don't Want Do Midlife Alone

As I've been saying quite often lately, women in midlife need community. We need to know that we are not alone as we navigate perimenopause, empty nest, aging parents, career and relationship changes and everything else. The first time I experienced brain fog, I was scared; was this dementia? After I found out that brain fog is a symptom of perimenopause and I'm not the only one going through it, I can't tell you how relieved I felt. I still had the brain fog but I knew other women had it too.

You Appreciate "Real" Talk

You can probably already tell that because I'm calling this "Unfiltered" that it's going to be different from the usual episodes. I will have a little more freedom to talk more openly about topics that I don't always cover in-depth and it may feel uncomfortable at times. Topics like intimacy and physical changes will definitely be on the list and I will invite you to share your own experiences through the "Send a Text" option in the show notes. While I will be sharing my insights openly, you will have the benefit of sharing anonymously as an option.

You Want the Opportunity to Share Your Journey Too

As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, your participation is strongly encouraged through feedback, questions and suggestions. If something I share hits a nerve or resonates with you so much that you need to share, please do that! I really don't want to be the only one talking out loud about s*e*x and intimate care after all! I would also encourage you to join my Skool Community (Midlife with Courage) where we can keep the conversations going even further.

You Want to Feel More Connected

Connection goes right along with community and this version of the podcast will create more connection with me and others. Even if we have never met in person, this will be a great opportunity to get to know each other. I am looking forward to hearing more from the people who listen in a more direct way.

You Want to Support the Show (and Me)

Yes, Unfiltered is a subscription which means I charge for the extra conversations and connections. Here's where I will be really open and honest with you-it costs dollars to put out a podcast. While it truly is a labor of love, I also need to cover costs and this is an easy way for listeners to help out and get something amazing in return. If you still aren't sure about it, give it a try and see what you think. The $5 a month is less than you pay for a Starbucks or Caribou coffee.

What Unfiltered Is NOT

I've been sharing what you will get with Unfiltered and now I want to share what you will not be getting for your subscription.

It will not be perfectly edited and polished. I am purposely not editing each episode as much as usual to keep the conversations real. You'll probably hear my mind working as I talk through a topic and that is an interesting journey, let me tell you.

You will not be getting more "education" or "how-to" information. We get enough of that and frankly, I want this to be a space where we can just talk things out.

Along those lines, you will not be getting all the answers because a) I do not have them and b) that's not my job. Also, some answers just can't be found since we are all unique.

So there you have it-the reasons why you need to subscribe to Midlife with Courage™: Unfiltered.
